Mango and Chilli Turkey Burgers

Whilst dieting for the competition it is essential that we make sure we have multiple sources of protein. Altogether there is over 20 kinds of amino acids, amino acids are the chains or protein. To ensure max muscle growth bodybuilding must try and hit as many of those different chains as possible. So, we have turkey burgers quite often. They are simple to make, quick to cook and taste awesome. Instead of the bread we use iceburg lettuce leaves to wrap the burgers up – genius!

Serving size: 2
Cooking time: 20 minutes

200g lean turkey mince (Sainsbury/Tesco do 3%)
20g fresh or lazy chilli
20ml mango skinny syrup from TRKG or 20g fresh
1/2 tsp Himalayan salt
Pepper to taste

Preheat oven to 160 degrees. Line a baking tray with tin foil. Combine all ingredients to a bowl and mix with hands. Make 4 burger patties. Add to oven and cook for 15 – 20 minutes. We love to serve with iceburg lettuce leaves and sweet potato chips!
