Beetroot Hummus

Summer means colour. Fashion, surroundings and in your food. Icon-set_3

Due to my new dietary requirements which means I have to reduce animal foods and increase foods from plant based sources I have been experimenting in the kitchen.

240g chick peas
3 beetroots
1 tsp tahini
1 tsp of garlic
1/3 lemon squeezed

Soak chick peas overnight or use straight from a tin after you have drained and rinsed. Blend all ingredients together and chill.

Serve with salad, chicken or raw veggies!
